The pandemic has affected each and every one of us in many different ways, a major one being Mental Health. Unemployment, loss of loved ones, quarantine, social distancing, quarantine, the list is endless. These are all causes for many people’s mental health to suffer and for people to feel helpless. So today I am here to help bring awareness to a much-overlooked topic: Mental health.
We as people tend to talk about physical problems a lot… getting hurt, breaking a bone, back pain, spraining a joint, and so many more. But when it comes to mental health, many people tend to keep things to themselves. They don’t like to share.
Anxiety, stress, depression, PTSD are all real problems and need awareness.
For those who need help, please don’t hesitate to talk to someone about it, a trusted adult, a friend, family member, teacher, or colleague. A healthy mind = positive life.
If you know someone that needs help, please reach out to them and help them. Even if someone seems fine on the outside, doesn’t mean they are fine on the inside.
As a community, it’s our job to bring awareness to mental health and help those who are struggling with it. It’s strange why many people talk about physical health but not much about mental health, and that needs to change now.
